Dhaulagiri Round Trekking Overview

धौलागिरी राउन्ड ट्रेकिङ्ग

Dhaulagiri Round Trekking is a challenging trek. The trekking starts from a rural village, gradually hike to difficult section and continue to strenuous pass, ridge, glacier. Dhaulagiri Round Trekking is recommending to an experienced trekker with basic mountaineering knowledge.  It will require full logistic support (sleeping tent, mattress, kitchen, and utensils. It is considered a challenging trek with 2 high passes above 5200m. After crossing French Col 5300m you will arrive at the hidden valley which is amazing and surrounded by high mountains. This valley is another difficult section of this trekking in a fuggy or snowy day. In a bad weather day (snow fall, windy and cloudy) or any physical problem could be real challenging. It is highly recommending to trek with a well-experienced trekking company and trekking guide who has been there previously and experienced with snow and icy conditions.
The trail to Dhaulagiri circuit is very small and follow through the ridge, crevasse and over snow. Alpine Asian Treks have a well-experienced guide to take you there and have a wonderful trekking experience.
