Cultural Trek Nepal Overview

Cultural trek Nepal is a newly opened for the trekkers. This is also known as a Tamanag Heritage Trekking trail.  The people in this area are Tamang, who are very cultural and still not spoiled from modern culture. There are basic lodges to accommodate to tourist and serve locally cooked food. The Tibetan border is close from here. The culture and costume is dominated from TIbet. Tibetan Buddism is the main religion in this area where you can see the prayer flags, Mani wall, Chortens and Gumpas in and around.

The trekking trail passes around 3000m though there are many ups and downs from one village to another. The view point Nagthali offers Lantang Lirung, and the Ganesh Himalayan ranges, Manaslu and other peaks. En route trek will pass through cultural (Timure, Briddim) Tamang villages whereas Goljung and Gatlang are more traditional. The houses are with terraced roof and close to each other are looks beautiful. The people in this area are deeply believe in shamanism.

Cultural trek Nepal  could combine to Langtang Valley Trekking to the eastern part and Ganesh Himal area to the west.
