5 day Langtang Valley Hiking is one of the best trekking in Nepal close to Kathmandu. Hiking begins with a jeep ride to Syabrubesi and trek through Langtang National Park. The park is renowned for its diverse flora and fauna, including rhododendron forests, bamboo groves, and various wildlife species.
Along the trail to Langtang valley, you will witness breathtaking Himalayan views and explore the Himalayan Buddhist traditions, customs, and lifestyles. The route features mani walls, old Tibetan monasteries, chortens, yaks, and unique Himalayan flora and fauna, including the rare red panda.
The last village in hiking is Kyanjin Gompa, situated at an altitude of 3,800 meters. The following morning, you'll hike to Tserko Ri at 5000 meters, where you can enjoy stunning views of Langtang Lirung (7,201m), Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and the Tibetan valley to the northeast. The return journey follows the same route back to Syabrubesi.

Although the road to Syabrubesi is generally good, some sections are rough. For your convenience, we arrange private jeep transportation from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi and back.

The 5-day Langtang hiking can be combined with the Tamang Heritage Trek. For more adventure, you can include the Ganja La pass. Alternatively, you can also include the Gosaikunda pass 4600m or add a climb to Naya Kanga Peak 5844m.

- Walk Slowly: Start the hike early in the morning to allow time for rest, photography, and enjoyment. If the weather is bad, you can stop for a while. Rest when tired to avoid symptoms like body ache, fever, and insomnia, which can make you sick.
- Drink enough Water: Even in cold weather, the body loses moisture through vapor. It is essential to drink at least 3 liters of water daily. Dehydration can cause fatigue and sickness.
- Stay warm: Wear warm clothes to protect against the cold. Use warm covers at night to avoid cold-related illnesses. Running out of cold can cause hypothermia.

Day to Day Itinerary
Drive to Syabrubesi and trek to Bamboo
Your trekking guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive (6-7 hr) to Syabrubesi (starting point of trek). You will have a scenic drive through Trishuli river and lunch will be at Kalikasthan. After arriving at Syabrubesi, you will have a small tea break and start trekking. After crossing the bridge, follow the Langtang river and arrive at a Bamboo village where you will have a night rest.

Trek to Langtang village
The trek starts after breakfast. The trail follow through the dense forest. When you will arrive at Langtang village, lanttang Lirung start to be seen. Night rest at a guest house.

Trek to Kynjin Gumpa
The trek starts after breakfast. The hiking will be about 3 hrs. You will be trekking abbove tree line, you may feel difficulties breathing. Arrive in Kynjin will have excellant view of the valley and sorround mountains. Explore around after lunch.

Hike to Tserko Ri and trek to Ghoda Tabela
Wake up early in the morning and hike to Tserko Ri to see the panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks, Tibetan valley and sunrise from Himalaya. Return to guesthouse for breakfast and trek down to Ghoda Tabela. Night rest a guesthouse.

Trek to Syabrubesi and drive back to Kathmandu
