The journey begins with the famous Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek (3200m) starting from Pokhara. This short and sweet trek is open all year round. In spring, the trails blast into full bloom with colorful Rhododendron flowers, and in winter, you can enjoy beautiful snow fun. It offers some of the most spectacular mountain views and sunrise photography opportunities in the world.
After the trek, the adventure moves to Chitwan National Park, one of the finest wildlife parks in Asia. The park spans from the lowland Terai plains to the mid-hills, creating a rich ecosystem. Here, you will explore lush tropical forests and river valleys to spot incredible wildlife, including the rare One-horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, sloth bears, wild elephants, crocodiles, rock pythens, and hundreds of beautiful bird species.

​ What to Wear on Jungle Safari:

  • When visiting Chitwan National Park, you will be entering the natural home of wild animals. It is very important to wear wildlife-friendly, camouflaged colors such as green, brown, tan, or olive drab. Please do not wear bright or aggressive colors like red, bright yellow, or hot pink, as these colors can disturb or frighten the animals.

Trekking Equipment:

The Poon Hill trek is not a difficult trek, but proper clothing is important to stay comfortable. Depending on the season (spring, autumn, or winter), you must pack accordingly. Please ask us for our recommended packing checklist.


Frequently Asked Questions

The trek is graded as moderate. It involves walking up stone steps, especially on Day 3, but it does not require any technical climbing experience. Anyone with a basic level of fitness can complete it comfortably.
