Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour with Short Trek Overview
Nepal Short Trek with Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour is the combination of Poon Hill (3200m) trek and Chitwan national park, Jungle Safari. Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is short and sweet trek which starts from Pokhara. It offers the best Annapurna Himalayan range and Sunrise. This 4 days trek open round the year as spring blast with the full bloom of Rhododendron and winter with snow fun.
Chitwan national park is the best park in Asia for wildlife safari tour. The park has a Royal Bengal tiger, one horn rhino, sloth bear, migrated bird’s python and many animals and birds. The extends from lowland (riverine plants and vegetation to tropical forest) Terai to mid hills of Nepal. Due to the variation of land escape, there is an animal, birds, and reptiles can be seen.

Articles of clothing in Chitwan Jungle safari: You will have a frequent visit to Jungle to your safari activities. There you will spot the wild animals, birds, and reptiles. You must wear animal-friendly clothes like green, brown, olive etc. You are highly advice not to use aggressive color like red, yellow, Pink etc.
Day to Day Itinerary
Welcome To Nepal
Our representative will be waiting at Nepal airport upon your arrival with your name in print. Transfer to your hotel and stroll around in the evening. We will organize a welcome typical Nepali dinner. Night rest at Hotel. If your time permit (if your land in Nepal earlier) we could adjust some tour from the following day.
Fly To Pokhara And Trek To Tikhedhunga 1540m
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu. Your guide will be waiting with car to transfer to domestic airport and fly to Pokhara. Meet your porter in Pokhara and drive to Nayapul (starting point of the trek) and trek to Tikhedhunga 1540m. Overnight at a tiny village at Tikhedhunga. This is an easy day of your trekking. After the ride, it will take around 4 hours to arrive to Tikhedhunga village. Check in to the guest house and stroll around. This day, you will not have any view of the mountain. Enjoy the local cuisine. Night rest at the guest house.
Trek To Ghorepani 2840m
Enjoy mountain breakfast at your guest house. After breakfast starts your hiking to Ghorepani. This is a bit more adventurous day than other days on this trek. Right after you left to Tikhedhunga, the trek starts steep hiking until Ulleri. From Ulleri, the Mountain View starts to be seen and bit easier than first part. Arrive at Ghorepani and enjoy the panorama of the Himalaya. Check in to the guest house and take out for a stroll around Ghorepani village. There is some gift shop and you may buy some souvenirs for your friends and family. Back to guest house and night rest after dinner.
Hike To Poon Hill 3210m And Trek To Tadapani 2590m
This is the biggest day of your trek. Wake up early in the morning and hike (45m) to Poon Hill 3210m to see stunning Himalayan peak including the Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Fishtail, Annapurna South, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Hiunchuli, Nilgiri, Manaslu, and many others. Take beautiful pictures for your memories. Back to the guest house and after breakfast, trek to Tadapani. Most of the trail will pass through the forest but still, You will view the mountain while trekking to Tadapani. Tadapani offers a fantastic view to Annapurna. Night rest at guest house after dinner.
Trek To Nayapul And Drive Back To Pokhara
Pokhara Sight Seeing And Drive To Chitwan 4hr
Take an early breakfast (7:30 am) at your hotel in Pokhara and check out from the hotel. Drive to sightseeing around Pokhara (David falls, Siddha cave, Seti river gorge, Bindabasini Temple). Drive (11:30 am) to Chitwan . There will be a few stops before arriving at Chitwan for lunch/ tea coffee/ toilet and knee break. Check in to Hotel and after lunch, camp manager will brief the program (Elephant back safari, sunset tour, cultural entertainment) and follow. Dinner will be served at Hotel. Night rest at Hotel.
Full Day Jungle Safari Excursion
Wake up followed by tea/coffee. You will be escorted by a nature guide. After breakfast follow the activities (canoe ride to enjoy and spot wildlife and bird, jungle excursion to spot the wildlife, elephant breeding center visit, local village visit, Tharu museum, elephant bath). Lunch and dinner will be at the hotel. You will have a chance to see Royal Bengal tiger, one horn rhino, sloth bear, deer, wild boar, wild elephant, crocodile, python, many spices of bird etc. Night rest at Hotel.
Return To Kathmandu And Fly To Home
Morning take out for bird watching and back to Hotel for breakfast in Chitwan. After breakfast drive to domestic airport and fly (10:00 am)to Kathmandu. If your time permit, you will drive to sightseeing and later we will transfer to the airport for the final departure. Sweet home.

Your trekking guide will have a licence from Nepal government with long experience in Trekking to Ghorepani Poon Hill. He speaks English and keeps knowledge about High Altitude mountain sickness, first aid, Annapurna Mountain and its history, people and culture. We will provide a porter (helper to carry the luggage) with warm clothing’s while going to the high mountain. Our company will give priority to the local porter as much as they are available.
There are nice and tiny guest houses in the Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking trail. We will accommodate to our trekkers (guest) in the best available guest houses in the areas. You will have your own room (twin sharing). If the trekker is single, we will arrange a single room. The guest houses are safe and people are friendly. Your guide and porter will have their own room to the same guest house. Meal in Mountain: We will buy the dinner and breakfast from the guest house where you will hold for the night. That is the understanding within the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking trail. You will be served the freshly cooked meal. The guest house will provide a standard menu which is set by the Local Lodge Management Committee. You can choose your meal from the menu.
Medical facilities: There are basic medical facilities in the Ghorepani Poon Hill area. We recommend to our trekkers to bring their own medicine (a headache, stomach ache, painkiller, Diamox, bandage, iodine, cotton, gauze, handy plast, common cold, diarrhea, and scissors). If the situation is serious, you should be brought down or call for an emergency evacuation (Helicopter).
Electricity: There may not have enough electricity supply in Nepal in winter season. You could expect power cut (no power) in some certain time of the day. While you are in mountain, you may require electricity to charge your battery, mobile, camera or etc. You must charge your electronic items when there is electricity.They may charge extra cost for charging. Internet: Some guest hosuses offer internet facilities with extra charge. We recommend you to buy a local SIM card and buy a internet packages from the city.
Safety in Trekking: Trekking in Nepal is safe. The trekking trails are not life challenging. But natural disaster could happen at any time anywhere. You are highly requested to stick the trekking trail and be aware of trekking precautions. There are police posts in this trekking trail to trekkers safety and to regulate the permit.
From our previous experience, Ghorepani Poon Hill trek does not have altitude sickness. If there should you require emergency evacuation (Sick/ climatic etc) we will operate helicopter service from Kathmandu or Pokhara with the permission of the client or his friend on his/her behalf. Prior to sending rescue Heli we will require the assurance of payment. We recommend to our client to buy an insurance which includes emergency evacuation. After you rescued, we will help you with documentation to claim the payment.
If you can’t complete your trekking due to your physical problems, climatic condition or etc we will give you the best similar option within your time limit and budget. If the tour cant complete due to our side, we will consider the refund of not used services or give you another similar option.
There is rough road to Hile and Kimche. Beside the road transport, there are horses available in emergency situation or carry in the basket by porter. The prices would be negotiable.
