Pisang Peak climbing (6091 meters /19984 feet), is a well-known trekking peak in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It is considered a technical climb due to the snow, rock, and ice up to 6500 meters. The peak rises steadily from yak pastures above the village to a summit covered in snow and ice. There are many opportunities for exploration and new routes. The western side, protected by a hanging glacier, presents a significant challenge. Climbing it involves a long snow trek from Pisang village and a steep snow climb at the top. The mountaineering school in Manang uses Pisang Peak for advanced training.
