The 2 day Everest View Hiking tour to Pattale Dada, designed to those people who are Dreaming to see Mount Everest with their own eyes, but want to avoid long, tiring weeks of trekking or taking high-altitude mountain flights. We Alpine Asian Treks designed a 2 day tour to a village at Pattale Dada which will allow you to taste the Nepalese village culture and people.
Pattale Village is the closest and most beautiful viewpoint of Mount Everest that you can easily reach by road from Kathmandu. Sitting at a comfortable altitude of 2,700 meters, this hidden gem offers a massive panoramic view of the grand Himalayas including Mt. Everest (8,848m), Lhotse, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga without any risk of altitude sickness.
Everest View Hiking combines a highly scenic overland drive along the famous B.P. Highway with an easy, short morning hike to the Pattale Dada viewpoint (2,900m). Along the way, you will drive alongside the beautiful Sunkoshi River, pass through lush green terraced hills, and walk through lovely pine forests. The February and April will be with blooming rhododendrons.

Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Pattale Village (240 km / approx. 8 hours drive). Overnight at a local hotel/lodge.
Day 02: Early morning hike to Pattale Dada Viewpoint for Sunrise and Everest view. Hike back for breakfast, then drive back to Kathmandu.
Day to Day Itinerary
Drive from Kathmandu to Pattale Village
We wake up early in the morning and start our drive at 6:30 AM from Kathmandu. We travel along the scenic B.P. Highway, driving beside the beautiful Sunkoshi River. There will be few stop for breakfast, lunch and tea/ coffee at a beautiful riverside or view points. The journey takes us through lush green Churia hills, small river valleys, and winding mountain roads. After a beautiful 8-hour drive, we reach the unique and peaceful Pattale Village (2,700m). Enjoy a warm dinner and spend the night at a local guest house.

Wake up early in the morning and hike (45m) to view point 2900m. From here, you will watch a breathtaking sunrise over the giant Himalayan range. You can see an amazing panoramic view of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Mera Peak, and many other snow-capped peaks. After taking photos and enjoying the view, we walk back to the guesthouse for breakfast. After breakfast, we board our private vehicle and drive back to Kathmandu, where our tour ends.

The road Conditions:
The drive uses the B.P. Highway, which is well-paved and scenic, but some connecting roads near the village can be bumpy. There would be scenic mid hills, local village and local bazar on the way.
