Langtang Valley trekking is the nearest trekking from Kathmandu. Langtang area is much appreciated with its Tibetan culture, less touristic and Himalayan view towards Tibet. The life in this area is dominated by Tibetan Buddhism. The Langtang National Park is rich for its bio diversities, flora and fauna. Once arrive in Kyanjin Gumpa (the last village at 3800m) you will be welcomed by a Himalayan heritage, Tibetan Gumpas and stunning view of Langtang Himalayan Range. The major peaks are langtang lirung 7225m, Ganesh Himal 7406m, Manaslu 8163m and many other peaks.
The trekking starts after drive (130km) to Syabrubesi and the last village Kyanjin Gumpa (near Tibetan Border). The trek returns via same route. It can be combined with Ganja La pass or can continue to Gosaikunda pass as well as from Syabrubesi.
