Budanilkantha also known as the Sleeping Vishnu, is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site located in the northern part of the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. The image is erected on a single stone of Lord Vishnu lying in a reclined position on a bed of Nagas (serpents). This depiction is symbolic of Lord Vishnu in cosmic sleep, signifying the cycle of creation, preservation, and destruction. The Budhanilkantha statue is approximately five meters long and rests in a rectangular pool. The area is particularly lively during major Hindu festivals such as Harishayani Ekadashi and Haribodhini Ekadashi.
The tallest Mahadev

Bhaktapur Durbar Square:

Swyambhunath:
It is also known as the Monkey Temple, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated atop a hill in the western part of Kathmandu, Nepal. The stupa, a dome-shaped structure with a spire on top. It is also known as the Shanti Stupa, is a prominent Buddhist monument located on Anadu Hill overlooking Phewa Lake in Pokhara. It was built in 20th century by Buddhist Monks. Pokhara and Kathmandu offer a wide variety of food choices, from vegetarian, non-vegetarian (Chinese, Indian, continental, etc.). If you have any allergies or would like to have some specific food, you can send us information and we will manage it accordingly. Nepal has four seasons. There would be a huge difference between the temperature (around 0 degrees) in the winter and the summer (35 degrees). You have to prepare proper clothing according to the season. If you are looking for some specific items from Nepal, and if you inform us in advance, we can refer you to some stores for your kindness, and you can save time, money, and effort.

Day to Day Itinerary
Arrive In Kathmandu:
We will be waiting at Nepal airport to welcome with flower garland. Transfer to hotel and take rest and refreshment . After the refreshing drive to Pashupatinath temple to see the "Aarati Puja" and back to the hotel. We will take you to welcome Nepali dinner. Overnight in the Hotel.

The Aarati
starts at 6 pm every evening and is the union of GOD and devotees. This is a ritual that allows everyone to be a part of it. The priests perform the Aarati by taking oil lamps and moving them in the circular motion and dedicating their act to the Divine. The devotees chant (Bhajan) a pray to GOD.
Pashupatinath temple:
The Supreme GOD Shiva temple (UNESCO world Heritage Site) is north east of Kathmandu. You can do Puja (offerings), meet holy man and cremating body. You are advised to visit in the evening if you wish to do Aarati (lighting butter lamp) and offering. Please mind that it may be difficult to wait without eating for a long time. The major festivals are Maha Shiva ratri, Haritalika, Bala Chaturdasi and Harishayani Ekadasi.
Kathmandu Sightseeing:
Enjoy your breakfast at Hotel and drive (9:30 am) to sightseeing (Buddhanilkantha, Swayambhunath Stupa, Patan durbar square). Lunch will be stop in restaurant in town. Evening back to Hotel for night rest. (If you are Hindu and wish to visit God in the morning our guide will pick you at 6:30 am and drive to Pashupatinath and back to hotel for breakfast and continue sightseeing).

Budhanilkantha Temple:
This is the biggest stone sculpture in Nepal, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The main statue is made of single black stone is 5 m tall and 13m long. Budanilkantha temple is situated to the north of Kathmandu. The Hindu visit this temple to pray for Lord Vishnu to fulfill their wishes. The Hindu observe the biggest festival on Haribodhini Ekadasi (October/ November) at Budanilkantha.
Swyambhunath (Eyes of GOD):
The temple is situated to the south west of Kathmandu on a hilltop. This is one of the holiest sites to Buddhist Pilgrimage. The ever seeing Buddha Eyes are painting in the middle of the main stupa which is wisely looking to the valley. Swyambhu offers a beautiful view of the Kathmandu valley. The temple is mainly built according to Vajrayana tradition (Newa Buddhism) and other small temples are scattered around the main stupa.
Drive To Pokhara 5-6 Hr:
After breakfast at hotel drive to Pokhara (7:00AM) on the through scenic highway way. On the way ride a cable car (visit Manakamana Devi temple). And continue to Pokhara. Overnight in the Hotel. Lunch will stop in some restaurant in Highway.

Manakamana Temple and Cable car:
The cable car distance from starting point to end is 3km and it take 10 min to reach other station. The Manakamana is a Hindu Goddess temple and it is believe that the Goddess grant its devotees wishes. The goddess is an incarnation of Parbati. The temple is situated at a altitude of 1300m , Grant wishes to the devotees
Note: You can take a domestic flight (25m) to Pokhara. Or if you are driving and do not want to ride a cable car, you can do a Rafting (3hr) and continue to Pokhara.
Pokhara Sightseeing:
Early morning (5AM) drive to Sarangkot (view point) to see Annapurna Himalayan view and the first ray from Himalaya. Back to Hotel for breakfast and drive to sightseeing (Bindabasini temple, Siddheshwor cave, David falls and Seti River gorge. Evening free to look around lake side. Night rest at Hotel.

Sagarangkot:
It is a view point to see the Annapurna Panoramic view and sunrise. This view point is just 40m drive from Pokhara to the north.
Drive Back To Kathmandu:
Enjoy the last morning in Pokhara. After breakfast drive through the scenic highway to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel and take an easy evening/ shopping. Night rest at Hotel.
